The location is a good location walking distance to stores party stores a Dollar general, gas station. They could use the new mattresses. In the bathroom could use some paints. I rented a room for an individual that didn't have a place to stay. The individual said they felt safe. Nobody was coming knocking at there door. Said it was the best sleep they got in a long time. And they started 3 nights
It’s not a bad hotel it’s not top notch but not low budget it’s the cleanest one on Dort hwy that’s for sure and the owners are always working on it to be better and nicer……. So as I left this review the other day I decided to change it today I went in to go pay for my room again. Remind you I’ve been here for seven days now paying 65 a night but then all of a sudden I get charged $70 a night saying that they had been making a mistake yeah I won’t be back here not to mention, I am a longtime customer a very loyal longtime customer…. So be careful and make sure that you don’t get charged more when you go back in if you decide to stay another night
It's a dive hotel, very basic rooms, minimal amenities. Room was neat and as clean as I expected. But it was the staff that made this venue go from a 2-1/2 to a five star hotel! In particular I reference very gregarious and cheerful maintenance man by the name of James. His easy going, friend morning banter and his welcoming smile made my day start with a smile. That in turn led to my whole day being up beat. That makes up for many shortcoming in my book!
I dropped a friend off. They've really cleaned the place up. They painted everything in very unique colors. They're trying to upgrade and keep it nice. Which it is compared to other Inns along Dort Hwy, Burton and Flint.
